This song written by Margarete Jehn is not to be confused with the traditional German children's' song Grün, grün, grün. This is made clear by the first line to whit:
Grün, grün, grün liebst du die Farbe so wie ich?'
Cornelius Neitsch, the leader of the DOKU-Chor, wrote an SATB arrangement in February 1997. I had the pleasure of singing the bass part whilst a member of that choir. It may be found in the Neitsch Folio. Das grüne Singbuch published by Worpsweder Musikwerkstatt is probably the source of the arrangement.
