In England geiht dat lustig her
Last updated: 17.09.18
I was introduced to "In England geiht dat lustig her" by Manfred Eichholz, a member of the Vegesacker Whalermen, and it is now in our repertoire. The tune is very similar to Ein Mann, der sich Kolumbus nannt but has quite a different chorus. The song deals with the differences in shipbuilding between the English and the East Friesians, to the detriment of the English of course! Its quite jolly.
