
According to the Internet source given below, Rachel Beckett (flute and recorder) studied modern flute with
William Bennett and recorder with
Philip Pickett at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The prestigious ensembles in which she has worked include: English Baroque Soloists, the Orchestre Revolutionnaire and Romantique, The English Concert, The Academy of Ancient Music and The Sixteen. She has recorded with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, The English Concert, Convivium, and Vivaldi chamber concertos and the Chandos Baroque Players on the Hyperion label.
Other projects include Bach's St. Matthew Passion for BBC2 TV and a TV series with Welsh mezzo-soprano Eirian James for S45 and Sir John Eliot Gardiner's project to perform all of Bach's church cantatas in churches throughout Europe in the space of one year.
