Length: approx. 3 mins. Sounds best if the 1st tenor and bass are doubled.
Wild Flower Rag is a delightful early composition by Clarence Williams who dedicated this piece Loius [sic] Wade and Fred C. Washington. Its form is of a 4-bar introduction followed by AABBACC 16-bar strains all in the key of Eb major. The treble voice will especially enjoy this little gem in having the free-flowing melody from start to finish.
Wild Flower Rag was published by Williams & Piron Music Pub., New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
A tempo of 150 crotchets/min. is suggested.
There is also a treble solo version of this item.
