These "Four Dances" by is one of several works which I purchased in June 1983 and were intended to be used by the "Klingende Runde für jung und alt". This one was never played by that group but was eventually played quite a few times in the mid-1990's by Blue Monday. They are relatively easy for intermediate players.
Of the four dances, the first two (Pavins) are by John Taverner and the other two (Allemande) are by good old Anon. According to notes of the editor, John Cannel, they are arranged from the British Museum Royal Appendix 74.
