This is a fine collection of 20 Quebec folk songs which the composer dedicated thus: Musique Dediees a Mme Sissi Gerlach avec toutes mes amitiés
I am especially proud of my copy of this work signed by the composer himself with the same wording. Although I will probably never play these pieces, they have charmed and delighted me as a folk singer. Eventually they inspired me to set up my Canadian Folk Music webpages.
As to the sheet music itself, it is well laid out with each folk tune on its own page. No page turning here! The following songs are included:
