p_thardoc.jpgAll that can presently (February 2025) be gleaned about Claude Thardo from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that he was presumably an American actor/singer who has been featured on 10 works published between 1900 and 1906.
He is also the one-off composer of If You Can't Say Something Good, Don't Say Nothing at All (1905) on the Columbia label which was sung by Bob Roberts.
His portrait on the left is taken from a photograph by Spooner Stock Co. (17307) held in the Billy Rose Theatre Collection at The New York Public Library.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this composer/performer.
