Internet searches reveal that Duncan S. Miller was the conductor of the Royal Hand Bell Ringers, a quintet also known as the Imperial Carillonneurs, which performed and toured in the late 19th century in Great Britain. They also went to America and Canada where they are known to have performed in 1892 at Crystal Beach, a park just outside Buffalo, Ontario, in 1892. They appeared on a number of occasions before Queen Victoria and other members of the Royal Family.
