Louis Wolfe Gilbert  (1886-1970)

According to the Internet source given below, Louis Wolfe Gilbert was an American popular music composer of Russian descent and born in Odessa. He started his show business career as a vaudeville actor touring with John L. Sullivan. He collaborated with a number of lyricists the most notable being Lewis F. Muir , Abel Baer and Anatole Friedland. He also was a writer for Eddie Cantor's radio programme.
