John Banister  (1630-1679)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, John Banister was an English violinist, composer, and the man who organised the first concerts in London to be open to the public on payment of an admission fee in 1672.
Mr Banister has a Prelude copied in Manuscript Music Book.
