Isaac Albéniz  (1860-1909)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Isaac Albéniz was a Spanish composer of music in the Spanish "national" style. He was a child prodigy as a composer and pianist. He was a pupil of Liszt in Weimar and spent the later part of his life in London and Paris. His works include operas (two in English), songs, many piano pieces including the cycle "IBERIA" as well as the celebrated tango.
