Beginners View
Don Bateman's book is an excellent primer for the beginning trumpet player. I'm currently learning to play the Cornet using it and the exercises are definitely at the right level of difficulty.
My only criticism is that the book is short on formal theory and could benefit from a few chapters in this area. Otherwise I would strongly recommend this book to aspiring players.
