p_vestan.jpgAccording to the Internet source given below, Nettie M ''Netta Vesta'' was an American vaudeville performer born in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.
Described as a Clever and dainty Vaudeville singing comedienne, she was featured on 7 works published between 1908 and 1910.
She left Springfield in 1900 to study voice in New York and by 1902 was already attracting the notice of critics and musicians. She appeared in Atlantic City with Sousa's band also in 1902 and by 1905 was starring as Dorothy in a touring company performing in Julian Mitchell's The Wizard of Oz which that played the Washington DC National Theater.
She traveled the Vaudeville circuit until at least as late as 1910.
She died in New York.
