It is surprising that so little is known about this performer considering the large number of recordings located. All that can presently (October 2024) be gleaned about Olive Marshall from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that she was presumably an American soprano who made at least 30 recordings between 1924 and 1928 on the Columbia and Edison labels.
Many of those recordings were with the Columbia Mixed Quartette, Light Opera Company and Mixed Chorus as well as the Metropolitan Quartet amongst others.
