Jere Mahoney

It is surprising that so little is known about this performer considering the large number of recordings located. All that can presently (February 2025) be gleaned about Jere Mahoney from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that he was an American tenor and founder memeber of the Haydn Quartet. He made at least 18 recordings (both cylinder and disc) between 1898 and 1901 on the Berliner and Edison labels.
