All that can presently (October 2024) be gleaned about Erva Giles from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that she was presumably an American soprano, a student of Carlo Buonamici (1875-1920), who has been featured on one work namely Little Yaller Dog (1919) words & music by James M. Gallatly, and published by Edwin H. Morris & Co., . She also made at least 56 recordings some with the Victor Light Opera Company as well as many other childrens' songs between 1926 and 1928.
