W. P. Dempsey
Last updated: 17.03.25
It is surprising that so little is known about this performer considering the large number of recordings located. All that can presently (February 2025) be gleaned about W. P. Dempsey from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that he was an Irish comedian and Blue Collar Water Rat who has been featured on 17 works published between 1892 and 1932.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this performer.
This list is derived from information provided by Monologues.co.uk which went down sometime in 2023.
The loss of this valuable resource is very sad and a mystery.
