George Brooks (1867-1947)
Last updated: 17.03.25
p_brooksg.jpgIt is surprising that so little is known about this performer considering the large number of items located. All that can presently (February 2025) be gleaned about George Brooks from sheet music covers and by Internet searching is that he was an English music hall performer of Cockney songs who has been featured on 11 works published between 1901 and 1911.
His portrait on the left is taken from And His Days Work Was Done (1903) music by T.W. Connor, and published by Francis, Day & Hunter, London W.C.2, England.
Surfers are welcome to contribute any further information about this performer.
