The World must be coming to an end
Last updated: 22.01.22
I found "The World must be coming to and end" when browsing through Lieder, Songs und Gospels 2 together with Oh, Charlie is my darling. I have never heard it sung and I have found no reference on Internet and my source states only briefly that it is a traditional Scottish song from Glasgow. Can any Glaswegan surfer confirm this?
The song is a pleasant piece of nonsense on sending an undefined "her" on errands whereby the luckless "her" succeeds only breaking various parts of her anatomy namely her knees, legs, head and finally her feet.
