Schlaf, Kindlein, schlaf! is a traditional German lullaby that
Nina Kreft and would sometimes sing either together or separately. For my part, demonstating my British humour (that is what Germans called it), I penned the following verse:
Schlaf, Kindlein, schlaf!
Es kommt der Drakula.
Er hat solch' lange Zähnen,
Beißt dich tief in die Venen,
Schlaf, Kindlein, schlaf!
