The Old Rustic Bridge
Last updated: 11.10.23
"The Old Rustic Bridge" is one of a number of songs that I learned whilst trying to learn to play the piano and can be found in the Regina Song Album No. 17 and written in G. This is a really nice old-time drawing-room song of love somewhat in, or at least reminiscent of the Stephen Collins Foster style. The album notes attribute "The Old Rustic Bridge" however to a certain J.P. Skelby.
60 Old-Time Variety Songs has a full version written in E♭ with 4-part chorus.
