A Mon like thee
Last updated: 11.10.23
A mon like thee is a beautiful, kindly Northern English (possibly Lancashire is my personal guess) folksong that once again which I first heard from Brian Kelly. He always sang it beautifully conveying the warmth, humanity and charity of the working class when meeting others in a worse state than themselves.
We often performed this song in the Idle Fellows, it provided a nice contrast to the more robust stuff.
