MacNamara's Band

I heard this Irish music-hall song as a child and is perhaps considered typically Irish by all non-Irish people. The MacNamara Band was undoubtedly democratic as they say in the second verse, "Whenever an election's on we play on either side". Modesty was not their special virtue when expounding their musical abilities and especially in their claim that nobody could do Thomas Moore justice like MacNamara's Band. The version I sing can be found in 101 Pub Favourites for Buskers.
