Look at the Coffin

This song can be found in The Clancy Brother's The Irish Songbook under the title of "Isn't it grand boys" and they describe it as an old English music hall song. The version I sing comes from good old Soodlum's 100 Irish Ballads Volume 1. I've a pleasant recollection of singing this in the Irish Pub in the Schnoor, Bremen where some hard-of-hearing Irish thought I was Irishman. What a an honour and privilege!
