The Lincolnshire Poacher
Last updated: 11.10.23
The Lincolnshire Poacher is another well-known English folksong from my schooldays. It's of a jolly, rousing song of a successful poacher and his mates outwitting the local gamekeeper.
The version that I sing is to be found in Songs and Dances of England by Liz Thomson.
