Hallo Django!
Last updated: 11.10.23
I first heard and learned Hallo Django by Uli Führe, a round (canon) from Cornelius Neitsch, erstwhile and short-term choir leader of the DOKU-Chor, Rönnebeck, Bremen in January 2000. This round readily lends itself to multi-part singing and the DOKU choir did it beautifully.
We also sing this song with enthusiasm in the The Vegesack Whalermen although nowhere near as well as the DOKU choir reflecting our unmusical talents.
Hallo Django can be found in Jazz Kanons: Ostinati & Patterns published by Fidula-Verlag.
