I learned "Donna, Donna" from Kerstin Knie, who I used to accompany with my concertina in 1996. It was originally a Yiddish song with words by Aaron Zeitlin and music by Sholom Secunda. She sang it very prettily and now and then I like to sing it myself. It is quite a contrast to the bulk of my material and is ideal for those quieter moments towards the end of a long session.
