All I know of the Wiener Blockflötenensemble was gleaned from sleeve notes of the LP given below. On this LP the ensemble members then comprised Alfred Endelweber, Ulrike Groier, Klaus Gund, Rudolf Hofstötter, Hans Maria Kneihs (who founded the ensemble in 1972 and lead it until it disbanded in 1985) and Georg Mittermayr. Way back in 1982/1983 I heard an NDR broadcast of them with a very wide-ranging programme which they had performed in the Waldhofschule, Bremen, North Germany on 18.01.1980. On the programme was also Luciano Berio's "Gesti" (not exactly my favourite piece). I have just one recording of the Wiener Blockflötenensemble in my personal collection and that is:
