Home Sweet Home & Annie Laurie (1906) Length: approx. 2 mins.
Home, Sweet Home and Annie Laurie is jokey piece obviously cashing in on the ragtime craze at its heyday in 1906. As in nearly all of Wenrich's work, this ragtime arrangement of these two well-known folk tunes results in a catchy piece of some delicacy well-suited to the lower registers of the recorder. Tenor players will love this.
Home, Sweet Home and Annie Laurie was published by McKinley Music Co., Chicago & New York, USA.
