Length: approx.3¼ mins.
Clover Leaf Rag is an excellent composition in AABBCCBB form with a 4-bar introduction whereby the AA-, BB- and CCBB-strains are written in the major keys of C, F and Bb respectively. The melodies are shared in this adaptation for recorder sextet by the treble and 1st tenor voices and the latter will especially enjoy the fine, tootling BB-strains.
Clover Leaf Rag was published by Albright Music Co, Chicago, Illinois, USA.
A tempo of 80 crotchets/min. is suggested.
