Heidi Schwarz introduced this item of Russian folk songs to
Blue Tuesday in 1998 when it was occasionally played . It has the following pieces: "Tanzlied" (Andantino/Vivace), "Mütterchen Volga" (Moderato), "Liebeslied" (Adagio), "Am Bach" (Andantino), "Wiegenlied" (Andantino), "Auf dem Berg steht eine Eiche" (Allegretto), "In der Fremde" (Allegro), Mädchenklage (Andantino) and the title song "die Glocken von Nowgorod" (Allegretto).
For my taste, it has some pretty pieces but not exactly my cup of tea. Perhaps we played it not enthusiastically enough.
