Length: approx. 5 mins.
Flower Land is a gentle, flowing and expressive composition with charm and beauty which adapts well to the recorder. Basically, two themes are explored with many changes of tempo and repeats being played an octave higher. In this adaptation for recorder sextet, the treble and 1st tenor share the melodies and the 1st tenor will particularly enjoy a particular highlight namely the cadenza in bar 29.
A tempo of 90 crotchets/min. is suggested.
Flower Land was published by Carlin & Lennox, Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
