Obviously a popular title because similarly-named pieces are also known as follows:
This particular Fluffy Ruffles is a march and two step in ABCDB form with a 4-bar introduction. As a transcription for recorder ensemble this piece is quite unusual in that a great bass is not mandatory. A delicate, dainty affair which allows the 1st tenor his or her place in the limelight. The 2nd bass is given the opportunity to alternate to tenor for a few bars as compensation for no little bar-counting.
Fluffy Ruffles was published by Parker Music Co, New York, USA.
A tempo of 150 crotchets/min. crotchets/min. is suggested.
