According to the Internet source given below, Frank Zabel is a German composer, music teacher and pianist born in Meinerzhagen.
He was taught piano by Robert von der Beck and violin/viola by Lieselotte Doenecke/Karin Schmidt at Volmetal music school near Hagen . He studied composition with Theo Brandmüller and Martin Christoph Redel . From 1990 to 1995 he studied at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne under Pi-hsien Chen (piano), Friedrich Jaecker and Roland Löbner.
His works include compositions for orchestra, concert bands, choirs, vocalists, chamber music, organ, piano, harp, guitar, accordion and percussion.
