According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Isang Yun is a Korean-born composer who trained in Paris and Berlin (pupil of Blacher) and now lives and teaches in Berlin; works include operas "The Dream of Liu-Tung" and "The Butterfly's Widow"; "Fluctuations" for orchestra; "Images" for flute, oboe, violin, and cello, etc.
