According to the Internet sources given below Chiel Meijering is a Dutch composer who studied composition with Ton de Leeuw, percussion with Jan Labordus and Jan Pustjens as well as piano at the Amsterdam Sweelinck Conservatorium. He has written a great number (more than 300) of compositions predominantly for smaller ensembles including the Aurelia Saxophone Quartet, the Amsterdam Saxophone Quartet, Loeki Stardust Quartet Amsterdam to name just a few.
