According to the Internet source given below, Leo Friedman was an American songwriter born in Elgin, Illinois. His greatest successes include Coon! Coon! Coon! (1901) and the two 1910 hits, Let Me Call You Sweetheart and Meet Me Tonight In Dreamland, both in collaboration with Beth Slater Whitson. Meet Me Tonight In Dreamland was also performed by Judy Garland her film The Good Old Summertime. (1949). He died in Chicago.
