Michael C. Festing  (1680-1752)

According to The New Penguin Dictionary of Music, Michael Christian Festing was an English violinist and composer, pupil of Geminiani, member of the King's band and director of the Italian Opera in London. Wrote cantatas, concertos, sonatas, mainly for flutes and violins, etc.
