Ingo Fankhause was a founder, educator, promoter and conductor of the recorder orchestras and music teacher at the Biel State Seminar, Switzerland. As a teacher of teachers and leader in advanced training courses, he made a major contribution to the recorder becoming the much-played instrument in the introduction of children to music.
