According to the Internet source given below, Konrad Boehmer was born in Berlin. He studied composition privately with G.M. König and between 1961 and 1966 studied musicology, philosophy, sociology in Cologne. He settled in Amsterdam in 1966 and is active in Dutch musical societies and has become a professor for electronic composition. His works include "Variation for 29 solo instruments" (1959/60), "Position for vierspuriges tonband u. orchester" (1960/61), "Potential for Klavier" (1961) , "Information für vier Schlagzeuger u. zwei Pianisten" (1964/65), "Aspekt für Tonband" (1965/66), "Weg" (music theatre, 1969), "Doktor Faustus"(music theatre, 1980/83) .
