Günter Bialas  (1907-1995)

According to the Internet source given below, Günter Bialas was a German composer and university lecturer born in Bielschowitz, Oberschlesien.
He studied piano and music theory with Fritz Lubrich. He later studied at Friedrich Wilhelm University Wroclaw and at the Prussian Academy in Berlin. Bialas taught at the Women's School of the Ursulines in Wroclaw-Carlowitz before WWII and after military service and captivity taught composition at the Northwest German Music Academy, today's Hochschule für Musik Detmold. Finally he moved to the University of Music in Munich as a professor of composition.
He died in Glonn, Oberbayern.
