Emil Ascher  (1859-1922)

Emil Ascher was an American composer and publisher of popular music. In addition to his cakewalks, In Jolly Junktown (1899) and Nicodemus and his Banjo (1899) DBE 220, he composed a large number of pieces for orchestral students, both beginners and advanced, to be performed on various orchestra instruments.
